THIS WEEK, PARIS Hilton paid a visit to the SiriusXM studio in New York City to have a chat with Andy Cohen. 

Andy decided to ask the 37-year-old socialite if she felt responsible for the Kardashians and their incredible success over the last decade or so. Not wanting to swerve into a PR disaster, Paris laughed and told Andy she’s “sweet about everybody.” Unhappy with that answer and eager to see Paris get the claws out, Andy pushed her again: 

I know, but that’s not the answer to the question. Do you think they would be… I mean, I don’t! I think that you opened a door in the culture for people being famous for who they are, and they have become very famous for who they are. You would have to agree with that, right? 

Despite Andy’s insistence, Paris simply replied, “They are KILLING it. I love them. I’m so proud.” When the topic turned to Lindsay Lohan, Paris wasn’t so sweet. Andy asked Paris about that famous photograph of her, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan leaving a party together in 2006. Paris didn’t shy away from telling Andy that her and Britney had been enjoying a perfectly normal night out before Lindsay imposed herself. 

Well, Britney and I went out for the night. [Lindsay] totally party crashed, like, we were all at the Beverly Hills Hotel at the bungalows and we were at an after-party and then Britney and I wanted to leave to go home and then [Lindsay] started chasing us and squeezed in the car, it was literally a two-seater SLR. She just squeezed in and I didn’t wanna humiliate her in front of all the paparazzi and be like, “Get out of my car.” 

Well, uh, nice of her to decide not to humiliate Lindsay until twelve years later on the internet and national radio. Maybe she’s as sick of Lindsay Lohan’s behaviour as everybody else. Andy told Paris how he had always assumed that the three of them had been having a great night together. He asked what happened next and Paris said:

We went back to my house and then Britney and I just went to sleep and Lindsay probably went to another party. I don’t know. There was no Uber back then, so she probably like called a cab. I have no idea. 

Andy then asked what kind of relationship Paris had with Britney and Lindsay nowadays. She had nothing but positive things to say about Britney, complimenting her personality and appearance loads. When Andy Cohen asked about Lindsay, however… 

Back in the day, we were friends… But she’s just like one of those people that I don’t really trust. I only like to be around positive energy and good people. Good vibes only. 

While in the SiriusXM studios, Paris also told Jenny McCarthy that the famously huge engagement ring that Chris Zylka had given her (before their split, obv) was either heavily discounted or free because of the free advertising the jewelers got from social media exposure. And yes, she’s keeping it.
